Lee DunleavyLee Dunleavy studied music at Hertford College in the University of Oxford where he was Organ Scholar and subsequently Organist, and received his degrees. After working as Director of Music at Christ Church Southgate, London, and as Conductor of the Enfield Choral Society, he was awarded the prestigious Organ Scholarship at York Minster.

Lee is a Fellow of the Royal College of Organists and was appointed Director of Music at All Saints’ Church, Northampton in September 2006, and Musical Director of the Northampton Bach Choir in June 2007. He has conducted the Bach Choir in works by Bach, Haydn, Mendelssohn, Rossini and a programme of music by Ralph Vaughan Williams to commemorate the fiftieth anniversary of that composer’s death. In recent years he has given solo organ recitals throughout the UK and North America.

In the summer of 2007 he directed the choirs of All Saints’ Church as they toured North America, during which they sang live broadcasts from St. Thomas’ Church, Fifth Avenue, and Trinity Church, Wall Street, both in New York, as well as giving concerts and leading services in both the United States and Canada. In April 2006 Lee directed the Choir of Boys and Men of All Saints’ Church in concerts in the Marburg, Siershahn and at Köln Dom, and will be returning to Marburg in April 2009 with the Bach Choir. He is also a prolific composer, and completed Fünf geistliche Lieder, bi-lingually set for use in England and at their first performance in the Elisabethkirche, Marburg on the 2006 tour.
