Our 'Friends' Scheme
Becoming a friend of the Northampton Bach Choir

Share your love of music by becoming a ‘Friend’

Becoming a ‘Friend’ of the Northampton Bach Choir is the perfect way to support the great tradition of live music-making in our county. For as little as £25 per annum, ‘Friends’ receive advance notification of forthcoming performances, and priority booking for our own concerts. The choir’s regular concert venue is St Matthew’s Church on the Kettering Road, Northampton, and only ‘Friends’ of the choir are entitled to allocated seating. In addition to these benefits, there are bi-annual events for the ‘Friends’, which include informative pre-concert talks by our Musical Director, and informal social evenings, most recently a lakeside soirée.

Find out what our ‘Friends’ say

The sound of over one hundred and twenty voices, alongside a professional orchestra and soloists, under the engaging baton of Lee Dunleavy, is always thrilling. As a ‘Friend’ of the Northampton Bach Choir I get the opportunity to meet the musicians and find out more from them about the concerts. The choir’s social activities are always entertaining, and I was privileged to accompany them on their tour to Rome, when they performed in the Vatican in 2011. Being able to book an allocated seat is a real boon, as it brings me closer to the musicians and the buzz of their collective energy
