Once again the Northampton Bach Choir will join forces with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra for a programme of music to rival the Albert Hall’s famous last Night of the Proms. The packed programme – under the baton of the acclaimed Owain Arwel Hughes.

Owain Arwel Hughes is a well-known conductor whose evenings of familiar toe-tapping tunes are not to be missed. Back by popular demand, the Last Night Of The Derngate Proms is a medley of musical fun and frolics, with this year's event featuring special guest Danny Driver performing Rachmaninov's irresistible Rhapsody On A Theme Of Paganini.

Other highlights in this action-packed concert include Rossini's galloping William Tell Overture and Handel's majestic Hallelujah Chorus - but as we approach the closing stages of this momentous concert it is time to wave your flags and hear the nation's favourite orchestra perform the best of British, in Elgar's Pomp And Circumstance March and Arne's Rule,Britannia!
