We are recruiting members in all voice parts for our forthcoming season! This opportunity should not be missed - over the next ten months we have four choral masterpieces in our concert programme - Brahms's A German Requiem, Beethoven’s Missa solemnis, Bach’s St John Passion, and Bruckner’s Mass in E minor. We are also delighted to welcome John Rutter to lead our annual singing day.

The Northampton Bach Choir is the foremost and largest choir in the region, with 130 members singing the choral masterpieces of all centuries to the highest possible standards. Potential members should have a passion for choral singing and good musicianship skills - recent new members have included those from a semi-professional singing background as well as singers who haven’t sung since leaving school.

If you are interested, please do not hesitate to get in touch with our Membership Secretary by e-mailing him. Potential new members are invited to our Open Rehearsal on Monday 9 September 2019, from 7:30pm to 9:45pm at the Northampton High School, and if you like what you experience, we will arrange for an informal audition shortly after that. Our audition process is painless - whilst people are invariable nervous going in, we get great feedback on how friendly we make it! You can find out more about the process on our How to Join Us page.
